To upload faction data to be displayed here, first you must be the faction leader or be authorized to speak on the leader's behalf, and you must be willing to respond to questions about your faction from this website's developer. If both of these conditions are met, you may submit your faction data in a rather lengthy form here. |

uploaded their data may include more information on their faction here, as well as include markdown
formatting. Keeping faction info accurate and up to date is entirely up to the faction leader.
Factions may pay 10,000 credits for a custom ID, which is visible in the URL, making it easier to
remember the link and giving them a clean, human-readable link for sharing.

Faction leaders and authorized representatives will be in charge of keeping their faction relations accurate and up to date. |

done on your Discord server via our Discord bot, Nexobot (/create-publisher). This
process requires manual approval, but is not hard to get approved.

may use markdown formatting. These articles are manually reviewed to ensure content follows basic

containing discriminatory or hateful content against any person or group of people, etc. However,
The Faction Nexus cannot guarantee these articles are truthful or without bias.

These include things like uploading faction data and support tickets. | These forms are currently embedded Google Forms, and not all of them are ready. Nobody gets notified when a form is submitted, so submissions may take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks to be noticed. (But generally no longer than a few days.) This roadmap is not always up to date. |

More settings, such as disabling starscape ads (once implemented), are planned. These settings sync with your device so your settings are remembered on your next visit on this device. They also sync with your Discord account if logged in via Discord on the same device (settings do not yet sync across multiple devices, but that is planned). While this is the only place that links to this page when you're logged out, these settings do still work when logged out. |

| /robots.txt | Robot crawlers thing | Machine-readable list of pages that tells ethical bots what they should and shouldn't index. | This tells bots what pages they should and shouldn't index. If the bot is ethical, it will abide by these rules. However, malicious bots won't care, and will probably even prioritize pages listed as not allowed, which is okay, since those pages either only exist if a mistake was made, or don't contain anything exploitable. We've also included a link to every publicly visible faction in our database here. |
| /coffee-machine/brew | The Coffee Machine | A web-based coffee machine? How is that possible? Is it really a coffee machine? Try brewing some coffee, I suggest 8 ounces (https://thefactionnexus.tech/coffee-machine/brew/8). | If you visit /coffee-machine/brew, you will get an error 400: bad request, telling you
to specify how many ounces to brew. Add this number to the end of the url (/brew/8 for
example). Our teapo- I mean coffee machine will then attempt to brew that many ounces of
coffee for you, then send that coffee to you digitally over the web. It's a pretty cool invention.
If only it were tested before being made public.
